Sungurlu Industrial Zone's Gunpowder, Cartridge, and Capsule Production Facilities Receive HeliPLAT Signature for Heliports
Turkey continues to increase its production capacity in the defense industry without slowing down. The latest addition to this effort is the gunpowder, cartridge, and capsule production facilities in Çorum Industrial Zone. This massive complex, costing approximately 6 billion Turkish Liras, is expected to contribute an annual revenue of 250 million Euros to the country's economy and provide employment for 2,500 individuals across its 97 buildings.
At HeliPLAT, we take great pride in leaving our mark on such a significant facility that holds strategic importance for our nation. Within the scope of the project, HeliPLAT Ltd. Co. is responsible for the engineering, design, certification, and production of indigenous lighting and fire systems, as well as crash rescue equipment and personnel training for two Heliports. Additionally, we are actively involved in the certification process for aircraft landing and takeoff, in accordance with the applications of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation.
