HeliPLAT on Duty in the Offshore Patrol Vessel Project
Under the leadership of the Presidency of Defence Industries, a significant step has been taken towards the widespread adoption of the gains made in the nationalisation of naval platforms as part of the Offshore Patrol Vessel Project. HeliPLAT Inc. has signed a contract with Dearsan Shipyard, which is responsible for the construction of the vessels in the project, for helicopter platform certification engineering, testing and training services.
Within the scope of the project, HeliPLAT will:
- Develop special engineering solutions for helicopter platforms,
- Conduct testing and certification processes in accordance with national and international aviation standards,
- Provide operational training to task forces, users and technical personnel.
These efforts aim to enhance the operational capabilities of the Turkish Naval Forces and ensure that the Offshore Patrol Vessels' helicopter operation capabilities are at the highest level and meet international standards.

Fuat Akpınar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HeliPLAT Inc., said the following in his assessment of the project:
